Is love so important to find?

Just putting a disclaimer out there.  I have not been in love ever in my life, and I know most of you think I really have no say, but I’m just expressing my views on it.  I also have a lot of guy friends and they give me insight on what they like in girls.

Love looks like something that is nice to have but don’t you think it’s more important to put yourself first?  Make yourself your number one priority?  Get yourself straightened out and then have that one person come to you?  I believe everything will fall into place if you just let it.  Trying to much to make things happen will ruin it.

Never let someone influence what you want to be, what you want to do, and basically how to live your life.  You need to have a voice which equals confidence.  Guys find confidence very appealing.  

They HATE it when girls put on wayyyyyyyyyy too much make up.  I have to admit I do like playing around with make up from time to time, what girl doesn’t?  They like to see the natural beauty of a girl and it also shows that she’s confident on how she looks.  

Space.  Give them space.  It’s nice to talk to a significant other for hours but you know people have lives.  Don’t get angry if someone doesn’t text you back right away.

They hate high maintenance girls.  Nails away have to be done, hair has to be perfect, yada, yada, yada.  You get the picture.  

Okay, from my point of view.  If you have a good resume as in, you finished school,  social, can rock sweat pants and a t shirt, can make a good living, etc, a guy will find that all attractive.  

Ugh, I’ll get more into this when I’m not so have asleep.

A cute and lovable boy.

I want a cute boy who can express himself in multiple ways.  Thoughts, photos, dance, etc.  Someone who is able to let his mind run freely with me.  Have our minds run wild together into the depths of our imagination until we both fall into a sweet slumber.  He must enjoy long walks and talks as I tell him about my day and we some how end up talking about what we want to and end up in the future. He must be able to hold long conversations about nothing and everything.  Someone who would rather call or see me in person than text and IM.  Someone who is just as eagered to listen to my voice as I am with his.  Likes to argue about who shoud sleep first when we are on the phone.  Can tolerate my crankinest when I don’t get enough sleep.  Someone who will love me unconditionally.  In return, I will make him laugh every second we’re together.  Be my goofy self and let my hair down when I’m around him.  Let him lay on my lap when he’s tired and fall into my arms when he’s emotionally hurt.  Does he have to be cute?  Not necessarily.  If he is able to make me too happy to fall asleep, then I’m all for it.  

You’re out there somewhere and you’re probably those “one in a million” type of people.  If I have to wait then I will.  Great things are worth waiting for, right?
